Installations are small-scale architectural projects. The are often sculptural, but large enough to affect the space that contains them. They can take the form of large scale furniture that modifies the usage of a space. Interior architecture could also be considered an installation.

This project uses a watch and a camera to document the experience of traveling through a variety of neighborhoods in Chicago. Pictures were taken at a set interval along the path, and are paired with a timeline and a map. This system creates an inverted relationship between travel speed and movie speed.

The title of the competition to play up the subserviant relationship implied in submitting work to be judged. The rendered graphic mirrors the varying densities of the city, one of the issues the competition intended to address. The deliverables were an 18×24 poster containing the competition brief, and a promotional postcard.
The LBPW project called for a shining focal point above the atirum stairs. The Submit graphic was printed on 3-form Varia Digital, and attached to an aluminum frame. The final installation is lit from within.
