Pinback is one of the perennial best indie bands out there, it's a bunch of studio musicians just going completely over the top with layered instrumentation. I was one of the older dudes rocking out in the front row during Kylesa. Disappointing pairing of bands. The fans just don't overlap. I was ready to hate Pinback as I had never heard them.
