Or rather, they did play. Last Monday. Was going to go, but my inner old man unleashed a furry of tiredness upon me. Sadly I didn't get any good photos but I did take a spot of video. You can find my coverage here: http://toomuchrock.com/shows/mirah.html Last night the rain held off for Decemberists. I got there at 4pm and it was just oppressively hot. Right when Colin took the stage, it started sprinkling. No umbrellas, just happy concert-goers. It stopped rainy shortly -- however on the train ride back home it started pouring and it was a giant thunderstorm by the time I got out at Belmont. But, yeah, it held off during the show -- only providing a few "dramatic" (Colin's word) flashes of lightning during the final encore of "The Mariner's Revenge Song ." Setlist: The Crane Wife 1 & 2 The Infanta We Both Go Down Together The Bagman's Gambit Odalisque The Perfect Crime #2 Los Angeles I'm Yours The Tain O Valencia!
