Really and Truly Dead

I can't tell you how much seeing this in IE6 on a Microsoft site amuses me. Still, I have to keep IE6 around for client site testing, since not everyone can be as glib about browser compatibility as the makers of the crappy browser itself. via Ian Dixon

Maybe the people at Microsoft read your post, and they felt embarrassed about this, because I didn’t get the same notification browsing to the site using Opera and Safari (I don’t have at the moment any IE6), which is a sorry for me, because my intention was to publish about this on my regular forum.

well, I’m assuming that the warning is only for IE < 7. Opera, FF, IE7, and safari all render sites pretty consistantly. I think it’s mostly meant to a) save on development time b) increase adoption of IE7.
