Dammit Sony,

I want to hate you, but I really just can't. How can one company be so smart and so evil?

Can I run my laptop by plugin it into my belly button? That would be so cool.

Well, maybe not cool for people who have to watch.

you keep sugar in your belly button? 0_o

i do wonder what the ‘used’ cells are made of after they’re done – are they edible?

Isn’t “MiniDisc” enough to hate them? ;-)

I see that you have read some of my blog, but not all of my blog. let me summarize:

my minidisc player is at least 5 years old. my minidisc collection is edging on 10. when i drop my MD player, the biggest concern i have is whether the headphone cord will pull out, and i’ll miss a note or 2. they’re no more DRM encumbered than an ipood, and they have a digitial line in. The media is cheaper than flash-based ram, and MO is more durable than hard drive, or any other digital media (that’s why your medical records are archived on it). MD’s are the shit. Sony’s famous for losing format wars because their stuff is too good to give up on, but all their lawyers come from the entertainment division.

    Adam,

It was my first visit on your blog. Personally, I had a mini-disc player and I totally hated it. One of the worst purchase of my life.

To each is own I guess :)

i know, i was teasing about that bit

if i hadn’t been an early adopter as far as MD, i don’t think i’d be such a fun. nothing would make me an ipod fan, though.

I love my iPod Nano. I wouldn’t change for anything in the world, except for an iPhone. ;-)

To each his own indeed ;) My wife has an iPod, which works for her (she has a mac). The main obstacles for me are that i don’t use iTunes (so having that would be as intrusive as SonicStage), and my generally being bored by minimalism.
