- 2 weeks after we dropped a $4G+ downpayment on our car,
- one of our roommates announced she's moving in with her boyfriend in july (2 months before the end of the lease)
- rather than deal with the hell that is craigslist and subletting,
- we found a schmancy new apartment in logan square
- it has corrugated metal siding, a common deck, central air, and a second bedroom for beer and video games
- we went to see voxtrot, who were amazing, and well worth waiting until 12:30 for them to take the stage. [gratuitous MP3]
- cassie has retired from her recurring role as 'jay leno kitty', and gone to frolick in the great litterbox in the sky
- last.fm continues to recommend me good music, or at least find me neighbors whose musical taste i trust
- ...and just in time. i'm going to see Dog Fashion Disco with josh's cousin tim on keyboards, opening for tub ring
- the wifest and i will be taking sadie (the civc) on her first roadtrip, to my sister's graduation in kentucky the weekend before
- i got Phil to sign off my IDP hours for the 3 years i worked at his firm.
- 3 down, 2 to go (not including the year i've worked at my current job)
- after 27 years, my parents are moving
i know i've missed a bunch more, and there's a whole bunch that aren't final enough to post about. real life has been far too stressful and time consuming for regular blog posting lately. and most of my writing energy is focused on writing a list of 101 things that i'll be posting on may 25th.
