you know what's great about those internet download jukeboxes in bars? yeah, i know, they're not really internet downloads, and they'd be far better served by piggybacking on an existing service like itunes, so that you could have some real choice. i mean, c'mon, no cursive?
oh, anyway. what's great about them is forcing a bar full of bon jovi/kiss/def leppard fans to listen to mr. bungle's 'ars morendi' at deafening volume. that, and the jukebox doesn't seem to know that when you pick dream theater's 'a change of seasons', you're getting way more than your money's worth.
for josh's birthday last night we went to play whirly ball. sort of. we actually played lazer tag at the whirly ball place. i outscored everyone, including josh by a landslide. i guess all that unreal playing payed off. we also played pool, darts, and some variant of golden tee with bowling. in which i bowled better than i'm actually capable of bowling.
