I don’t recognize this country anymore.  Massacre and coverups?  disregard for every form of life?  i remember growing up here.  i remember that warm fuzzy feeling i had as a child that most of my countrymen agreed with me.  i’d like that back please.

    can you fight hegemony without becoming a hegemon yourself?

    maybe it’s because i’m in the midwest, but i’m starting to sound like a lunatic. it’s not that people don’t realize this is going on, it’s that they think it’s ok, that this is just the way things go.

    this place is becoming a black hole for logic and decency.

    i’m trying to figure that out.
    i wish i had the answer. maybe it’s because it’s background noise…we remember to hear it every once in a while, but most of the time we don’t even bother paying attention anymore.
    it seems that most people have bigger things to worry about than our souls being sucked into a black hole of logic and decency.
