Sunday i took my bike in for its first tune-up. (After a few months the the cables relax a bit and need to be re-tensioned or some such.) Monday i got sick. like, really sick. completely forgot about picking up my bike. by wednesday, i was getting better, but of course, i gave my cooties to my wife. Thursday, i went to pay for something with cash, and while digging through my wallet, found my claim ticket.

i had to read the stupid thing twice before i could remember what it was for. apparently the dizeeeeze included some amnesia as well. it wasn't until i got to the part about "after 7 days we will charge a $3/day storage fee" that i remembered. At first i thought it must be from the wifest's ibook, which has been in apple's shop since thursday (they said 3-5 days. foolishly, we believed them).

    I can’t wait to go home and have warm drinks and cuddles and lots and lots of sleep. And vitamins. Can’t forget the vitamins.
