current tune: better than ezra - desperately wanting

feeling a little nostalgic today. i love the way music does that to me. i can't listen to this better than ezra CD without thinking of driving around in dave's '92 honda prelude. unless i think of some other time, listening to this, and thinking of dave. all my music has some association like that. dave's the only one of my friends/cousins who's getting married that it doesn't bother me. i think it always seemed odd that he wasn't married... i dunno.

also on the list of adam's brain functions that aren't quite clear to him is why i have such a bizarre thing for preludes, or why dave hold such a high respect value, even when everyone else i went to church with, i can barely stand. i guess he's the one person i never had any doubt believed what he was talking about. maybe cos he thought a lot the same way i did.

anyway, i think i ought to fly out to San Diego for the wedding. maybe i'll make a big tour of the continent, and hit up Victoria.. but that depends on how things go next month, i guess. good god i can't wait :grrrrrr:
